About Ellen

Ellen received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Furman University in 2007 and her Master of Science in Social Psychology from Northwestern University in 2009.  After deciding to change fields, she is completing pre-veterinary coursework and plans to apply to veterinary medial school in the near future.

About Tristan

Tristan received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2007 and 2009.  He currently works as a software engineer for eCD Market in Chicago and has an unhealthy obsession with cats and Lenin.

Our Story

We first met when we were 15 years old, when our mutual friends set us up to go to a high school homecoming dance together.  Although our high school romance didn't blossom, it was a different story when we were reintroduced 8 years later while both living in Chicago.  When Tristan's friend Charlie came to visit him in May 2009, their friend Joanna suggested that they meet up with Ellen, her former college roommate.  Ellen met Tristan and Charlie for lunch, and the rest is history!
